🐣The Hatch

Hatching is the entry point into Duck Dynasty’s gameplay loop. Players acquire Ducks through Egg Packs, which use a randomized minting mechanism to determine rarity. A Duck’s rarity directly influences its Luck (harvest success rate) and Multiplier (SHT earned per successful harvest).

Duck Pack Types and Pricing

Pack Name
Cost
Rarity Distribution

Basic Egg Pack

7,000 SHT + 2 SUI

70% Common, 25% Queen, 5% King, 0% Golden

Rare Egg Pack

15,000 SHT + 6 SUI

Golden Egg Pack

25,000 SHT + 12 SUI

30% Queen, 50% King, 20% Golden (no Common)

  • Each pack mints one Duck NFT.

  • Rarity is assigned randomly at the time of minting.

  • Ducks immediately enter the gameplay loop: Nest → Harvest → Repeat.

Supply and Sales Mechanics

  • Total Pack Supply: 5,555 packs (fixed limit)

  • Initial Sale (Batch 1):

    • 800 packs total (200 for team 600 for public)

    • Priced in SUI only (as above)

  • Subsequent Batches (Batch 2 onward):

    • 300 packs per batch

    • Mixed payment: SHT + SUI

    • 24-hour cooldown between batches

    • Continues until all 5,555 packs are sold

Pricing Control

  • 80% of SHT used for hatching is permanently burned, reinforcing the token’s deflationary model.

  • A portion of SUI from each purchase is allocated to liquidity provisioning.

  • Prices for packs and SUI contributions are subject to rebalancing to support long-term gameplay sustainability.

Duck Rarity & Stats

Every Duck has two performance attributes determined by its rarity:

  • Luck – the chance of a successful harvest.

  • Multiplier – the amount of SHT earned on success.

All Ducks follow a fixed 4-hour harvest interval, creating a consistent gameplay cycle.
